Exoplanetary Properties Announces Intentions of Selling Property on Fomalhaut b
On November 13, 2008, the National Aeronautics and Space Administration announced that astronomers, using the Hubble Space Telescope, had obtained the first visible light images of a planet in orbit around a star other than our Sun. The planet, named Fomalhaut b, orbit the star Fomalhaut, located in the southern constellation Piscis Australis.
Today, December 1, 2008, Exoplanetary Properties is announcing that it is claiming exclusive rights to sell both properties on Fomalhaut b and the mineral rights associated with the properties.
Said Exoplanetary Properties founder George S. Williams, "We believe that this is the first time that property outside of our solar system has been offered for sale and we are we are very proud and excited to be a part of this and to allow others a chance to play a part in this historic venture."
Parcels of Fomalhaut b will be offered for sale beginning on December 5, 2008, on the Exoplanetary Properties Web site. Buyers will receive a Special Warranty Deed conveying ownership of the property, a Mineral Rights Deed giving absolute rights to any and all minerals located on or below the property, and a Certificate of Registration contained in a presentational folder. Buyers will also receive an informational package including facts about Fomalhaut b, a chart showing the location of the Fomalhaut system in the southern sky, and an explanation of how the planet has been divided into tracts and parcels.
